Our Story
Empower EQuine is founded and managed by nerds. We are absolutely thrilled by all things horse and positive psychology. Through our experiences, and a hefty amount of research, we have learned a lot about what the human and equine bond can do, and we would love to share this knowledge with you!
Remaining Question Driven
Adopted from Dr. Stephen Peter's call to "...remain question driven" when considering equine sciences, and the direction for new equine research. The question that drives Empower EQuine Academy is "How can we make life better for those who safeguard our lives and well-being?" In seeking to answer this question we sought to marry our skills with a gap in public servant support. We believe that we have found one such gap and a means of filling it; by combining the lessons of leadership development, EQ development and horsemanship we feel that we can help our public servants become better communicators and leaders as well as become more resistant to burnout.
